- What is the entry fee for the park?
The entry fee is INR 30 per person.
- What is the fee for camera?
The fee for still camera is INR 53 and that for video camera is INR 315
- What kinds of safaris are available in Mudumalai wildlife sanctuary?
You can go on a bus safari, which costs INR 340 per person or on a jeep safari that costs INR 4200 per trip. They also have Elephant safari in Mudumalai, which will cost you INR 1120 per person.
- What are the timings to visit the sanctuary?
Visitors are allowed to the sanctuary from 6 am to 6 pm.
The best way would be to hire a cab or drive your vehicle to the sanctuary. You can also board buses that travel to Mysore from Ooty and request for stop at the Sanctuary office where the safari rides start.
- Can we trek in the forest?
Yes, but you can’t go by yourself. You need to only go with trained guides. Trekking in forest will not be allowed for all and you need to get special permission to do the same.
