Capture the essence of the Nilgiri Mountains in its whole at the highest point in Ooty – Doddabetta Peak, which is 2623 meters high. Great spot for some memorable photographs. Go up to the telescope house to view the surrounding areas through the lens. If you are feeling adventurous, explore the woods as you walk back to the foothill.
The drive up the hill to the peak will be beautiful and you will get to see amazing views of the Western Ghats and the valley as you drive up. The road travels through a thickly wooded area on one side and panoramic views on the other sides. The scenery will be so lovely that you will be tempted to stop on the way and capture photos.
